Plan Vector and Plan Sentinel are commercial products. Please read how they are funded.

Plan Vector and Plan Sentinel are subscription analytics services operated by ThinkNirvana LLC, a for-profit company. Both are built entirely from public U.S. Department of Labor Form 5500 filings, with a citation to the underlying filing line behind every figure. Plan Vector ranks single-employer retirement plans over $100M by benchmarked cost, compliance, and multi-year "switch-readiness" indicators, for providers seeking prospects. Plan Sentinel applies the same public-filing engine to the plans a subscriber already serves as the incumbent provider, surfacing external retention-risk indicators across that book. Neither predicts outcomes; both prioritize.

Subscribing providers pay for access. Our subscribers are asset managers, recordkeepers, insurers, and retirement-plan advisory firms. The Service is a paid product, and that is how it is funded.

This is separate from Fiduciary Shield. Fiduciary Shield is a *free* benchmark for plan sponsors, published by ThinkNirvana Foundation as a disinterested resource; it is not funded by the retirement industry. Plan Vector and Plan Sentinel are different and separate: they are commercial products operated by ThinkNirvana LLC, and providers pay for them. They run on systems separate from Shield. Neither has access to Shield users' entered data — their inputs, queries, or session parameters — and both are built solely from public filings. Information a plan sponsor provides to Fiduciary Shield is never used in, or shared with, Plan Vector or Plan Sentinel.

No pay-to-rank. Rankings, scores, and indicators are produced algorithmically from public filing data. No subscriber can pay to change its own score, alter a competitor's score, suppress a plan, or influence rankings. The methodology is applied uniformly to every plan in the dataset.

We do not represent anyone in the data. ThinkNirvana LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any plan sponsor, service provider, or incumbent named in the data. Named entities are identified solely from their own public filings.

Information, not advice. The Service provides benchmarks and indicators derived from public filings — not quotes, and not investment, legal, tax, actuarial, or fiduciary advice. Figures reflect the filing cycle they are drawn from and may lag current circumstances. Subscribers are responsible for their own use of the information and for compliance with all laws that govern their outreach and sales activity.
